I can't access the site here at work, silly firewall. But I'm already on the list to volunteer there (should get free entry and some free stuff). But I'm also interested in some of the tourneys. And maybe even some of the team competition stuff

Yeah, its in April next year but I like to plan and budget. Makes it alot easier to make sure it goes smoothly and you don't end up being told to sleep in a wall closet for Origins ~grumble grumble~

So I'm throwing this out if you guys would be interested in attending as well. Could carpool and share a hotel to cut down cost. I have someone I can go with now but frankly would rather not be around him that much.

Ill look into this James, I would really like to play in some big tourneys, I have never been able to. I planned on going to one of the grand tournaments last year but it ended up falling through

The Game Preserves have some nice tourneys as well. The one I went to in Greenwood had 24ish people and the Bloomington one had 5. I think trying out some of those to get the general feel of a tourney might be a good idea before jumping into a GT setting.

But maybe attending a GT in 2009 could be something we could plan as well. I don't mind sleeping on the floor if it means sharing costs and making such trips all the more feasible
